25% Progress Report Pt2
This week's progress report features a lot of new additions to the game that flesh it out past an early demo phase into the final layout of what the game is shaping up to be! Our team is working diligently to make sure to iterate and polish on what we have worked on previously, while adding exciting and interesting new features!
Began grayboxing of other levels. The Engine Room level is now playable but will get more work to extend the platforming puzzle in the Main Reactor room.
Continued Work on the intro level sees 2 additional sections to help give the player a more well rounded introduction to the games story and mechanics.
HUD designs are coming along, almost in their final stages. IT has been imported into the game and is the default player HUD.
Story script is finished, just needs some polishing but we are almost ready to move onto recording.
Wind mechanics are in an alpha stage. Currently able to match a collision box and provide a linear directional force that can move objects.
Modeling for assets are either complete and textured for minor assets like boxes, or are in progress such as our grappling equipment. Grapple weapon will be fully modeled and detailed by the 50% mile stone coming up next week.
Project Apophenia
Trapped at an abandoned research facility on a seemingly desolate planet, you must escape by any means necessary.
